Bottom line
A successful Baidu push only means Baidu accepted your URL list — not that it crawled the page, and not that it indexed it. Treat submission, crawl, and indexing as three separate layers.
On gulingle.cn, GULINGLE runs daily Baidu push (about 10 URLs/day for newer sites), IndexNow for Bing-compatible engines, and a monthly SEO/AEO/GEO audit. Our 2026-10 snapshot: technical basics pass; Bing/Google bots are active while Baiduspider visits are scarce — a classic “pushed but not indexed” pattern.
1. What each layer proves
| Layer | Success signal | Does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Push | API success, webmaster “submitted” |
The spider will visit |
| Crawl | Crawl logs / Baiduspider in access logs |
The URL will be indexed |
| Index | Index count up, stable site: snapshot |
Rankings or clicks |
2. Push layer
Use the full site parameter (https://yoursite.com), rotate priority URLs when the daily quota is small, and keep sitemap / robots / HTTPS / canonical aligned. Run IndexNow in parallel for Bing; use GSC “inspect URL” for Google critical pages.
3. Crawl layer
If push stays green but Baidu crawl frequency is near zero while Googlebot/Bingbot are busy, fix crawl reasons first: webmaster verification + sitemap file, internal links, content freshness, 5xx/cert issues, thin duplicates.
4. Index / GEO layer
After crawl, pages still need clear titles, a single H1, canonical HTTPS, fitting JSON-LD, and entity signals (legal name + real sameAs). See the page-level SEO/AEO/GEO checklist.
5. Monthly GEO self-check
/llms.txtlive with current brand/services- FAQ intents match llms answers
- At least 2–3 real sameAs profiles
- Core content updated within 30 days
- Schema on home / services / posts
- Compare push success charts with crawl/index charts side by side
FAQ
Q: Lots of push success, tiny index count — failed?
A: Push may be fine. Check crawl frequency and on-page/entity quality before buying more submission tools.
Q: Paid “fast indexing” services?
A: Skip them. Fix structure, freshness, and webmaster data first.
Q: Push English URLs to Baidu?
A: Prioritize Chinese URLs for Baidu quota; English to Google/Bing/IndexNow.
Q: High GEO score means leads?
A: No. It means machines can read you better. Topics, distribution, and sales still matter.
